At approximately 6000 acres, High Valley is a huge piece of property by most western standards. The fertile soil and plentiful water make High Valley green and the wildlife abundant. There are two creeks which run through the property nearly year round.

The house is located on a 2000 acre cleared section of land on the front of the property. High Valley also holds a large tract of uncleared land resting in between two parallel running mountains at the back of the property. This part of the property contains some spectacular natural scenery including a 65 foot waterfall and Round Mountain, one of the highest locations in the area. Climb to the top for a spectacular view of the region.

There are 6 man-made dams (ponds) located throughout the property, each stocked with a different kind of fish. Two creeks run through the property year round to provide water to crops and animals. The property also has a 2700 foot (820 meter) sod air-landing strip.

Wildlife is everywhere at High Valley, and mobs of Kangaroos are seen daily. Emus and other wild birds always nearby. Wild pigs are seen occasionally and are a favorite animal for the locals to hunt.
