About the Farm
- Capacity: 400 head cattle
- Cleared Acres: 2500
High Valley is first and foremost a working farm. The land can support approximately 400 head of cattle plus sheep and a wide range of crops. Out of 6000 acres about 2500 acres of land are cleared of trees for farming. The cleared land is broken into 9 large fenced paddocks.
The property was at one time a sheep farm and the sheep shearing structures all still stand in perfect condition. The property was recently updated with a brand new steel cattle yard.
High Valley gets approximately 30 inches (76 cm) of rain per year. Two creeks and a number of man-made dams throughout the property keep the animals and crops well-watered and well-fed year round.
